Financial Assistance
You may qualify for up to $150 in thermography grants from the United Breast Cancer Foundation. Individual grants are also available for women who have been diagnosed and need assistance with holistic or traditional treatment alongside household expenses. Visit UBCF.org for information and application.
Applications are open as funding is available, which typically occurs at the first of each month. If you do not see an application link, then funding has been closed for the month. If you qualify for any of these grant programs, we will provide you with a sales receipt to submit to UBCF for your reimbursement.
Financial Information
All services are self-pay. We do not file insurance. This allows us to accept clients on their own terms without a doctor’s order or insurance approvals while keeping fees reasonable and affordable.
Medicare and most other major medical insurance companies typically do not reimburse for thermography screenings or self-referred ultrasound exams, but you should confirm with your insurance provider or health sharing group if a reimbursement policy exists. We do accept HSA (Health Savings Account) and Flex Account cards if you have one as part of your insurance plan.
If you have Aflac’s cancer policy, they have at times partially reimbursed for thermography screenings. We are unable to provide CPT or diagnosis codes unless you have a doctor’s order for an ultrasound.
In order to confirm your appointment, we require payment and completed paperwork 48-business hours prior to your visit. We will email you links to your invoice and paperwork to pay and complete online. This not only secures your appointment but allows the technician to give her full attention to your scan and helps minimize unnecessary contact between you and our technicians which is especially important during Covid-19.
